Philadelphia Cooking Creme Review

First of all, I am not being paid for this review.  I received a product coupon in the mail and decided to give it a try.  After all, who doesn't enjoy a tasty bargain?  My opinions, however, are completely free!

We decided to try the Savory Garlic flavor.  I was hoping it would be similar to an alfredo sauce and I was right!  My husband loves garlic sauces so I chose that route.  My family enjoyed the product and it was easy to use.  I loved it.

I made a simple dinner using chicken breasts, mushrooms, asparagus, and cooked rice in under 30 minutes.  I put the rice on the stove to cook while I prepped the chicken, shrooms, and asparagus.  I simply sauteed the chicken in a little olive oil and added pepper, diced onions, and 2 tablespoons of minced garlic.  Then I added my veggies.  When they were done, I stirred in the Philadelphia Cooking Creme and heated through.

I served my mixture over the rice.  Voila!  Easy dinner and the house smelled amazing.

The garlic flavor wasn't overpowering, even after I added more to the chicken.  It was creamy, saucy, and a good addition to the meal.  My only complaint is that I probably should have used two packages, because my family is rather large OR they should have two sizes available.  I probably could have made my own alfredo sauce using cream cheese in a large enough quantity to feed my family.

My family chowed down on this and requested for me to make it again.  I am certain that I will pick up more of the Philadelphia Cooking Creme if the price is right.  Gotta have a sale or coupons!

Have you tried this product?  What were your thoughts?
