Deviled Eggs

An egg is so simple.  Brown and white ovals filled with a breakfast lover's delights.  My sons prefer a more devilish way to indulge in eating eggs.   I do have to say it fits their personalities.

First, you need to fill a pan with your eggs, water, 2 tablespoons of oil, and a little salt.  Bring to a boil for at least 20 minutes.
Are you ready for a cracking good time?  Peel the eggs into a plastic bag so you can just roll up the shells and clean up is done.  Cut the eggs lengthwise and pop the yolks into a plastic bag.
After all the eggs are halved, add a little salt, pepper, and a teaspoon of sugar.  Seal the bag and knead the yolks into small pieces with your hands.
Add about two tablespoons of mayonnaise for 6 eggs.  Squirt about two teaspoons of mustard into the mix and knead again.  We are giving your fingers a workout today!

When the mixture is smooth and there are no visible lumps, snip a corner off the bottom edge of the bag.  Voila!
Gently squeeze the bag and pipe in your deviled egg filling.  This is the fun part.
After all the eggs are filled, sprinkle with Paprika to put a little color onto the plate.
Now it's time to dig in and enjoy.  Who knew something named after a devil could be so good?

I tried to go "wordless" for Wednesday. I failed, but my oldest son took most of these pictures for me. Thanks for the help!

I have boiled eggs and I have eaten deviled eggs, though I've never tried to prepare them before. :)
